how do I uninstall a printer and another app on my mac

The app is easily removed by going to the Applications folder and moving it to the trash. If it is an app installed by Apple, it can not be removed. If the app has an uninstaller, it is best to use that as it will also remove all of the other bits and pieces found throughout the OS.
To remove a printer, go to System Preferences. Click on Printers and Scanners which opens another window. Then select the printer to be removed on the left side and then click on the minus sign at the bottom of the window.
