How to use iOS shortcuts to enable/diable Safari "reader view"?

I would like to create a shortcut to enable and disabled 'reader view' when using Safari on iOS.

Does anyone know if this is even possible?

The idea being, to then use this shortcut via 'backtap'.

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 14

Greetings, adolfgarlic!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! That's an excellent question you have about making a Shortcut using the back-tap to enable and disabled reader view in Safari. We suggest you take a look at the Show web page action and then tap on Show More > Enter Safari Reader, then customize the shortcut the way you are wanting. ou can find more information in the link for the Shortcuts User Guide.

Let us know the results and have a terrific day!
