apple tv remote

I just ordered a new remote (old one got lost) I synced it as told. Apple tv box flashed when I press any button , but the screen won't change. I've tried unplugging, still no help. Any suggestions?

Apple tv will come on screen but the remote won't work The remote will not work with the apple tv box. When I press the button on remote the light blinks on box but won't let me go to setup in main menu. Please advise, thank you!

apple tv- remote gen 2 how do I reset or pair a aluminum remote? I lost the orginal and bought a replacement on line-- it wont pair or operate the apple tV- it makes the light blink- but nothing happens-- i think i need to pair it but dont know how?? Please help! Ed

Apple TV I changed the battery and cannot get my apple tv remote to work to allow me to update my settings. I have already unplugged/reset/etc. It seems to be the remote. How do I get it to work agsin?
