Invalid email for apple ID

Okay, I used my work email to create me Apple ID and now it say that it is not a valid email to use. I contacted customer service and they created an account that is like Appleuser.... the dots being my invalid email address in order for me to be able to use my phone. The problem is that I have a ton of photos and things that are only in the cloud from my not vaild Apple ID. How can I create a valid apple ID and be able to get these things back?

You can use the customer service ID.

When changing to the new ID, there may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed.
