Ok but how do I turn off the ICloud on my iPhone 11? And will this make the pernicious ads stop? Why can’t I just let it fill the cloud up and then just stop adding when it’s full? That would be what a decent company would do. I guess we just have to except the fact that Apple is an uncommonly greedy business. I’ll rethink my next purchase.

By offering you a solution for your full storage space? There are dozens of users asking here daily about "how do I get more iCloud space"

Those "pernicious ads" although I'm unsure how these ads are harmful to you in any way. Anyway, those ads will continue unless you do something to cull your iCloud storage.
How do I stop using I-cloud. It better not to use it a all than have them trying to sell me more storage at every turn.
