"ambient noise reduction" setting missing

The macOS help menu lists the settings, but they aren't there. I checked three other Macs also, and they're missing in all of them (none of them are T2 Macs, and the MIDI issue doesn't apply either).

Have they just been removed? Trying to troubleshoot a Mac that is acting like it's an issue with this setting, so was hoping to toggle it...
