how do you delete HP easy scan?

Why am I getting a message saying that HP Easy Scan will damage my computer and that it should be deleted? It gives me an option to delete it but when I do, it says it must be deleted manually. I continually get an error that shows "HPDeviceMonitoring.framework" will damage my computer and it keeps popping back up as soon as I hit the "OK" button. Any ideas on how to get this off my computer?
