Can't find an AirPod

Hi! so recently i lost an airpod (i don't know where) but it won't show on the map it just shows the one i have, when i play the sound it just goes to one airpod instead of both how can i find my other airpod?

Hello,

If your AirPods are out of Bluetooth range, out of charge, or in the case with the cover closed, Find My won't give a current location. You just have to find them manually by looking for them. However, Find My may list the most recent location where they were last connected.
