You will need to follow the instructions in this Apple support article. You must do this on a computer running iTunes or it can be performed on a Mac running Catalina or Big Sur via the Finder.

If you forgot the passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is disabled - Apple Support


If you don’t have a computer ask a friend, family member or make an appointment at an Apple store and ask for their help.
