Weak security

My WiFi says weak security and we have a WPA2-AES but for some reason it says it’s running (TKIP)

I don’t know how to change it. I called out carrier and they keep talking about a weak signal. It’s WEAK SECURITY ???

they don’t even know what I’m talking about. Sent out a technician to tell me it’s not their router. How do I get it secure ??
