That sounds scary.
First of all, in that kind of situation, you have to troubleshoot right away. I don't know if you ran out of battery and the laptop shut down when you drove home.
When you say "won't save any files", are you talking about multiple Projects? So the question is, are the Project files gone or the audio file inside the Project.
If the actual Project File is missing, then you do 't have much hope. In that case, the file might have only existed in RAM and never was saved to disk. In that case, when you close Logic or shut down the computer, your Project is gone.
If you still have the Project, but the recorded audio files are not visible, then you have one chance by looking inside the Project File, by opening its Package File (in case you chose "Package" when you saved your project. But that depends on who you saved the Project File in the first place. Audio Files are stored inside the Media Files folder

If you never saved your Project, then Logic still saves your changes and recordings under the Project Name "Untitled". Just look for that Project File.
