Message of someone using my Apple ID

what should I do after I received the following message on my iPhone this morning - ?

“Your Apple ID & phone # are now being used for iMessage & FaceTime on a new Apple Watch”

I am wearing my original watch right now...

iPhone 6s, iOS 10

Apple ID I got a message two days ago saying that my Apple ID and phone number were being used for iMessage and FaceTime on a new Apple Watch. I do have an Apple Watch but it is not connected to my phone. Now there is a phone call in my call log that I didn’t make and I tried to the number this morning and it won’t ring. When I look in my settings it seem that only my own devices are connected to my Apple ID??
