How can I get a "To" column in column view in Big Sur mail
I formerly had a "To" and "From" column, in column view, in Apple Mail. Under Big Sur, I can't find a way to get the "To" column to show.

It looks like you've got an answer, but I can't find any place to ctrl-click on the column headers bar that brings up that auxiliary menu. Are you sure this works in Big Sur? If so, can you be more specific about where to click? Any header portion of the header bar just highlights when I ctrl-click on it. Thanks for any additional help . . .
Yes, Big Sur. Control or right click right next to the header titles, like From or Subject:

Right click (Control-click) on the column header bar and from the drop down menu choose To.

It works!! Why, why, why does Apple make such adjustments so obscure?? Thank you!

It’s not obscure. It’s worked for decades.

Thank you. Screen recordings like this are very easy to do with an app like Telestream's ScreenFlow, which is used in this example.
