How do I return my watch? Just place in the mailbox or so I have to call fedex?

Just received I am new watch and trying to return my broken one in the box provided. Did everything the picture steps said and put it in my mailbox but my mailman did not take it. It arrived via Fed acts do I need to call them how does this work? Written instructions would be so helpful versus just the pictures.
