Updating OLD 2010 MacBook Pro 17 in from macOS Yosemite 10.10.5 to macOS Mac High Sierra 10.13.6 - Computer says there are no updates.

I need to update my 2010 MacPro to the newest compatible operating system to macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. I currently have Yosemite OS X 10.10.5. My computer does not say I need any updates, how do I get the operating system to update manually?

You can find links to the macOS 10.11 to 10.13 installers here as well as instructions for creating a bootable macOS USB installer (highly recommended):

I also highly recommend you have a good backup before attempting to upgrade macOS just in case something goes wrong.

FYI, there is a possibility you may first need to install macOS 10.11 before you can install macOS 10.13.
