The extension cord -- Power Adapter Extension Cable - Apple
You can use it. See the following:
The 1.8-metre Power Adapter Extension Cable is an AC extension lead that provides extra length for your Apple power adapter. Use it with MagSafe and MagSafe 2 power adapters, 10W and 12W USB-A power adapters and 29W, 30W, 61W, 87W and 96W USB-C power adapters.

Yes. Apple's USB-C to USB-C charge cables are recommended for everything through 96W in the following description: USB-C Charge Cable (2 m) - Apple
It's the old type of power cord - the long white one which extends the length of the power adaptor - it is not a USB cable - these were on 2010 and 2015 and probably many more. Thanks anyway.
Great news! Thank you!
