Not hearing text messaging or other sounds on my iPhone 12.
Checked all of the basic settings, but didn't find the problem. What setting am I missing?

I appreciate the response. That was the first thing I checked. I ended up calling Apple Support and we checked all sorts of settings and all of a sudden it started working again. We will see how it does and if it is not a glitch in the phone.
