Is it locked from incorrect screen pass code (disabled), then see:

Note - your phone will be wiped. You can restore it if you have a backup.


If it is activation locked

You can reset it through a computer that has iTunes installed you need to plug in a usb link between both devices. Open the phone press the sleep button until you see the option to shut off the phone. Then hold both the power and phone button. There should be a window popping up saying if you want to reset it in some cases it will also say reset/update. press either one and then wait. It should be factory reseted . NOTE: This will not work if it is locked by apple ID
