If I trade in my iPhone can I put the credit on my Apple Card instead of of a gift card

Trade in only gets you an Apple Gift card to be used for purchases for Apple iTunes, App Store, physical Apple store, etc...
It can not be applied to an AppleCard balance owed.
If you want to use the Apple Gift Card plus your Apple Card to make an Apple item purchase using 2 types of media (gift card & credit card), you can do this online or in store.
