How to connect AppleTV to WiFi without remote

A few months ago I lost my remote to my Apple TV, like anyone else, I stuck to using the Apple TV remote app on my iPhone. However, I recently got a new apartment...new apartment = New WiFi... I found myself having trouble using my Apple TV since I couldn’t connect my phone to it without the Apple th already being connected to WiFi...and of course WiFi can not be set up without a remote already connected to it. I have heard a lot of complains about cases like these and an Apple TV remote costs around $60!! I could only use it if I hard-wired it to the Ethernet cable. Later on I thought of an idea..I found an Xbox one remote in my closet and thought “what if I connect this via Bluetooth?!” And so I went to the setting and managed to connect the Xbox one remote to my Apple TV..now I would unplug the Ethernet cable and set up the WiFi and use my phone as the remote without having to keep it plugged in to the router! I may have made this sound a lot more complicated than it should but I thought I should share with everyone in case anyone else comes across a similar issue.
