Photo editing software crashing NX-D and Silkypix EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)

I have a 2019 i5 Macbook pro. Since installing Big Sur none of my photo editing apps work. "Photos" works, but I need my other programs to work. With Nikon NX-D I can edit the pictures but whenever I try to "convert files" to finish the procedure the app crashes and gives an error report. I removed and installed the app 3 times, same issue. Each time I open it though, even with a fresh install it tells me I have files in my queue that need to be processed, then shows blank lines. I dismiss that and do my edits but it crashes as above. This is what it reads [partially].

I did run disk utility first aid with no success.
