Order not showing up

I placed my order around half an hour ago. I was emailed an order number and everything. However, when searching for the order on my account with the order number, the website is telling me that no such order took place. Can I please get some help on how to proceed?

If the order is from apple.com, try going to the website, scroll to the bottom of the page, and under Apple Store, click Order status.
