Severe connecivity issues between iOS14 and Airpods 2. Gen

Ever since updating to iOS 14 my iPhone and Airpods 2 Gen have enormous problems connection when taking the airpods out of the case and putting them into the ear. Often this is not even solved by repeating the step, but only by disconnecting the devices in the bluetooth settings. Does anyone experience similar problems?

Reset your AirPods

I have done multiple resets and that hasn’t helped a single time. whenever I take the AirPods out of their case I hear the connection sound, however they don’t show as connected in Bluetooth and when I play music they don’t get used. that for I am positive that the error off the AirPods has to be the software related
