Can you do Facetime from apple phone to android phone

Thanks. I have a friend in the hospital with whom I would like to see/communicate but she is Absolutely not capable of making any adjustments on her Android. I am looking for a way to see her and communicate. I thought Facetime might be it.
No. FaceTime only works between Apple devices. However, there are many other options: WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Google Duo, Skype, even Zoom, which is free for personal use.
There’s a possibility she has Google Duo, or can get it from the Play Store.
