Mail pop ups - online status

Hello, I need help please...

I am so frustrated and need help please.

I have followed the instructions and turned off mail notifications, yet I keep getting alerts from mail about my online status. In the middle of meetings this keeps popping up and it is so embarrassing and annoying. How do I solve this issue? Please help!
