Billed to balance?

What does it mean when it says billed to account balance? I have a Family Sharing Plan and I’m the creator of it.

Greetings Paiso_420,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We're glad you're here, and we'll be happy to answer your question. Thanks for letting us know you're the family organizer.

It sounds like your bill was covered by your Apple ID balance as mentioned here: How App Store and iTunes Store purchases are billed - Apple Support

"If you have an Apple ID balance, Apple attempts to use your Apple ID balance to cover the full amount of the bill."

As the Family Organizer with purchase sharing, you pay for the family purchases: Family purchases and payments - Apple Support

"One adult in the family—the family organizer—pays for most purchases that family members make. But if you're a family member and you have your own Apple ID balance, your purchases bill to your personal Apple ID balance."
