Thanks for the detailed information. What I did not know is that WPA2-Personal and WPA2-PSK(AES) were the same thing. Always thought there was some difference. I knew about WPA/WPA2(AES) and that it will allow WPA or WPA2 to connect. Knew about WEP and TKIP but needed your post to bring them back into memory. Thank You again.

In theory any router manufactured or updated after 2004 should support WPA2, but the industry was slow to adjust to the new standard and as recently as 5 years ago some still only offered WPA/WPA2(AES), which is not secure because a WPA device can connect to it.
I think you mean WPA2(AES) 😏
