Delivery delays

This is just a user to user forum moderated by Apple employees.

Keep in mind:

1. There is a worldwide epidemic that has made staffing onsite difficult at all companies.
2. Shipping delays happen because of customs from manufacturer site, and arrival in your country.
3. Parts may be delayed for manufacture if not all are in the same factory at the same time.
4. Internet issues because so many are working from home can delay download of software onto computers.

Instant gratification is more likely if you call around your local authorized resellers for the machine and see if they will hold it, and let you have a chance to cancel your existing order.

If you have a custom build machine, that will take longer.
