use case :: parent needs a way to manage contacts for kids' watch vs kids' iPad
We bought our kids Apple watches to utilize family sharing (they don't have their own phones). Goal of the watches is to be able to track them in the neighborhood and for them to call specific people (mom, dad, granny, etc) for rides after sports/friends. They also have iPads for gaming (which we physically hand them once homework, chores, etc, are done). The watch is more of a safety/GPS/phone home) tool whereas iPad is for gaming and fun.
There doesn't seem to be a way to manage contacts for different devices. It's one setting for a profile, which means my kids can now call/text their gaming buddies on their watches. TOTALLY SUS! :)
I hereby kindly request Apple Dev team to consider this use case. We switched over from the hokey Timex kid's watch, but at least that allowed us to restrict who the kids could call and text.
Thank you!
