Possible to use my mid 2011 27" iMac as a monitor for my 202 MacBook Pro?

Hi, as implied by the subject, I have a mid 2011 27" iMac, and I recently purchased a 2020 MacBook Pro. I wanted to know if there's any way I can use the 27" iMac as a monitor for the MacBook Pro. I have the Thunderbolt 3 to TB 2 connector and can connect the machines, and I've tried pressing Command F2, as well as fn Command F2, and nothing happens. I've read that it simply won't work with these models, but I thought I'd give it one last try with a question here. Thank you!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.0
