Why is Siri now setting my alarms for tomorrow by default?

I set alarms all day long for everything. Prior to the latest update if i said 'Set an alarm for 1:00' it would set it for 1:00pm later that day. Now it is setting it for 1:00am the next morning. Argh!

Why is Siri suddenly assuming I want all my alarms the next morning?

Having it set the alarm for tomorrow morning by default is making the assumption that alarms are only for getting up in the morning. The reason this is an extra dumb change is because 1) there is already a separate wake up alarm feature 2) most people wake up at the same time for work every day

So the change has taken something I use 10 times a day and made the assumption that it is something I only need to use when I change what time I wake up which is almost never.

I am also very frustrated by this change on a daily basis. It seems that before, Siri assumed am/pm based on the next available time, which was smart. Now it assumes AM unless you specify PM, and we're stuck in the habit of not having to specify. I've missed a couple events due to this and also been waken up in the wee hours of the morning : [

Seems like this was an accidental bug? Thanks for your attention.
