Spacebar and arrow keys not working on Magic keyboard when using Word processor

iPad Pro Magic Keyboard “space bar” Not Responding ISO 14.2

I bought a brand new iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard and absolutely love them both, my only frustration is when I’m trying to type and press my “space bar” and the arrow keys they don’t work in Google Docs or Apples Pages, but they will work with Microsoft word online. Also there’s a blue outline around the document when this problem occurs. Talked to Apple support and their fix was to send me a new keyboard. However that didn’t work either. The solution posted from July didn’t work on ISO 14.2. HELP!!
