My watch had an error unpairing but it doesn’t show up on my phone

my watch wouldn’t connect to my phone. I matter what I tried. I finally decided I was going to unpair and then repair it. In the unpairing process an error popped up on my phone saying something along the lines of not completely successful, however the app doesn’t register that I have an Apple Watch and my Apple Watch is still acting like it’s paired. How do I fix this?

On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Go to Find Iphone.

Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase Apple Watch.

Select Next until the device is erased.

Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.
