North American Unlocked iPhone 11 Pro Max with eSIM in Europe

Hi, I have an opportunity to buy an Unlocked iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB from the US (A2161). Currently I have an iPhone 11 which I bought in Germany and have a physical sim from the British Three Network and an Orange eSIM. Both work great. I checked the differences in Band support between the US and the countries that I travel to and every band that I use is supported but I'm wondering if there might be any problems with the eSIM activation? Do those versions differ eSIM support wise? According to Apple website, only the Chinese version doesn't support the eSIM as it apparently has 2 SIM slots. My concerns are based on Samsung phones which tend to have as many different versions as you have apples on the trees. Could anybody clarify this for me? Thanks
