Itunes?

I want to download FREE applications and it asks for my apple ID password I type it and the it tells me I have to complete my apple I'd and it says I have to contact itunes support to complete this transaction

Login to iTunes for updating apps failef So since a few days ago I apparently have to login into my iTunes account in order to updates (free) apps on the Apple Store. It mentions that I can also use my Apple ID password, but doesn't work at all.
