How do you update your browser when there is no option for software update under the apple menu

If you are running an OS like macOS High Sierra or earlier updates are done through the
App Store Updates page.
From the introduction of macOS Mojave onwards System and Security Updates are done
from System Preferences> Software Update.
What OS are you running.
