I erased my iWatch and tried to Re pair with my phone again. I get to the step update iWatch. I push update but nothing happens.

I went through the steps and final let erased my iWatch to Re pair with my phone again. My phone reads the iWatch and prompts I to update iWatch. I push update on my phone but nothing happens.

Long shot, but turn both totally off. THen start iphone and let it come fully up. Then do same with watch. Now try and pair.
