How do you know when family sharing is paying while having a different card for your account ?

You are welcome. Once you join a family, the organizers card is added as primary. You won't be able to use your card. You can buy/redeem Gift cards to the account. Charges will be deducted from the account balance before the organizer's credit card is charged.

Gift cards redeem.

Gift Card - can’t redeem.

If the organizer's card is the primary card, all charges will be charged to that card.

Thanks so what if I join my moms family and we share things such as Apple Music, will I be charged if I still have my card on file without hers. So like the only purchases made will be from what ever I buy on applications ?
