Iphone 12 Pro Max Lense Flare Issue

Is anybody facing camera lense flare or ghost / mirror reflection issue in Iphone 12 Pro max while shooting in a low light enviornment?

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! We understand you are seeing an issue with lens flare when taking photos on your iPhone 12 Pro Max. We are happy to provide some information on this.


If you are seeing unexpected light effects when using your camera in low light, there may be an outside light source that is bouncing off of and reflecting to the camera sensor in your iPhone. You might want to try shielding the camera lens or move the camera slightly to change the position of the incoming light:


If you see a flare, haze, or spot near the edge of your photo or video

January 25th 2020 I received my new Gold iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB in Canada 🇨🇦 I was testing out the features as I am coming from the iPhone 6 so I noticed a huge reflection and glare heavily in low light also from the back and front camera 📸 whenever a light source is present
