Using "FIND MY" device and the 2 Factor Authorization code is sent to my lost Apple device.

I have 1 Apple device, an iphone 7+ . How can I use "FIND MY" device if the 2 Factor Authorization code is sent to my lost iphone 7+ ? What do I do to have the Authorization Code sent to my non apple e-mail address. ie I lose my iphone 7 and want to find it using the "FIND MY" option. I have access to a friend's smart phone or a computer.
