iphone not been backed up since 2016

Hi,

My phone is broken so insurance requested me to inactive Find my iphone and remove the device from icloud. I did this but I had no idea my phone was not backed up since 2016.

Please advise if there is a way I can restore my photos and other documents or not.

iPhone lost Hi. I dropped y phone in the river by mistake and I don’t know how to recuperate my photos. I did had iCloud but I’m not sure if it was backed up up to date. I’m afraid it was not for Somme reason

If the data was not backed up, and the device is no longer functional, the data is gone.
