Why are the Alarm Volume and Ringer Volume the same slider?

These should be separate adjustments. There's nothing more annoying than having turned up your ringing during the day, then get surprised with a super loud alarm first thing in the morning. Who thought is was a good idea to combine the adjustment of these two volume settings?

The only answer anyone here in this user-to-user forum could give you is "Because that's the way Apple made it".


If you use the Sleep feature in Health, you can set the volume separately for those alarms in Health.
