My email is with Bell Sympatico in Canada. Use a MacBook Pro. Since my latest upgrade when I move an email into the Trash it disappears. Would like to store emails there until I do a final trash. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thank you.

My email is with Bell in Canada. Use a MacBook Pro. With recent update from Mac my email trash no longer shows any files. Sometimes I want to re-read or recover a file before a final delete. How can I make deleted files show up in my Trash? Thank you.

We are likely to be using different email apps. With mine (Thunderbird) I am able to drag any listed email message from my In Box to some other box for storage. I suspect that you may be able to do the same. Just close the opened message, then it should remain selected, within the in-box. Next, drag it to your other folder. Try this and see if it works for you. If not, then I would install Thunderbird and use it.
