My email is with Bell in Canada. Use a MacBook Pro. With recent update from Mac my email trash no longer shows any files. Sometimes I want to re-read or recover a file before a final delete. How can I make deleted files show up in my Trash? Thank you.
Most email apps allow us to create, delete and rename our folders to suit our individual needs. Why not simply create a folder called "Help Items" or something like that. Problem solved.
We are likely to be using different email apps. With mine (Thunderbird) I am able to drag any listed email message from my In Box to some other box for storage. I suspect that you may be able to do the same. Just close the opened message, then it should remain selected, within the in-box. Next, drag it to your other folder. Try this and see if it works for you. If not, then I would install Thunderbird and use it.
Thank you for that tip. I did create a new folder but I can't automatically send an email to that folder without going into the menu. Not like pressing one key, the delete key, and the file going automatically into trash. Thank you for your help; I appreciate it. Still don't know why the new Apple upgrade has changed things.
I can indeed drag it into my new Trash_2 folder. However, it's not like just hitting delete and then
seeing it in there later and then doing a final delete. In any case, thank you for help. I really appreciate it.
