I was on my iPad and I hit a website and something weird happened. I hit the website again and a message came up. To contact Apple support. I actually called the number on the alert not sure if that was the right thing to do.... was in a conversation with someone who was wanting my name and email talking a lot of language I’m not computer savey. Is this possibly a scam. I honestly believe the website was no good Has the iPad been affected???

The message is, and always be a scam presented by criminals. Hopefully you did not divulge personal or financial information when talking to them.
