The whole thing is a farce.
When I received my new card, few weeks ago, I went and update the info through the website. Today I get a message on my iPhone saying I need to update my credit card info. So, tried to do that on the phone.
First, there is no 'edit' button. Second, it was impossible to update to expiration date, the moment is started entering the date the keyboard went away. Only figured out after several attempts, that you first have to delete the dots, then you can enter the date.
I got an okay and went online to see other experience. Here I'am.
... wanted to comment to help you ... but now I get the same message again on my phone and won't accept the update anymore. I guess my Visa blocked now.

I tried again, but this time not from my iPhone but from iTunes. Much better interface and much smoother experience. The iPhone shortly updated after that. Everything looks good now.
