Relative Dates in Mail.app

How can I disable the relative dates in Mail" I don't want "yesterday and today"? I'd prefer just dates to show in lists.

Acutally, I like actual dates to be universal on my mac. I found information for disabling items in single finder folders one folder at a time. But would appreciate a universal option.

Me too, after years of working on it I got rid of Today, but never could get rid of yesterday... who the heck has time to stop & figure out what day yesterday was... or today for that matter!?

Might try this for Today, I can;t remember how I did it...

In Finder, open a folder to change to in List or Cover Flow View. Then press Command-J or choose View > Show View Options.

Deselect the Use relative dates checkbox.
