proximity sensor

How do I disable the proximity sensor on my iPhone 12 pro max? when you are on the WhatsApp page in conversations, just swiping off the screen.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We understand wanting to disable a feature of the iPhone and will explain.


There is no setting that can disable the proximity sensor. You can try troubleshooting the app itself by removing it and adding it back to the iPhone: How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
