Can I open iMessage on my laptop

Then iMessage would not be supported with that devise however you could plug your iPhone into the computer and use the iPhone's screen on there.

Also there are no IOS emulators at the moment so iMessage would not work with your PC.

If it is a Mac you can click the iMessage app or download it from the App Store otherwise with a pc it is not possible.
