How do I add music from my collection in Apple Music to a PowerPoint presentation?

Use the PowerPoint Insert command and navigate to the file. Details can be found in here:

Note that songs purchased from the iTunes Store will work fine. Protected files such as downloads from an Apple Music subscription will not work.

Thank you - that was helpful. In fact, nothing on my New Microsoft PowerPoint screen looks like what you suggested. Rather, my route went from "insert" to "audio" to a menu offering the choice of "audio browser", "audio from file" and "record audio". I fumbled around with "audio browser" yesterday, getting nowhere, but today "audio from file" took me to a list of ALL my stored musical numbers and a keyword search located the right one for me. So, thank you: you made me return to my screen and try something different which worked. I did not find that a list of musical numbers rather than "records" was really helpful but there we are: I got there :-)
