Apple Watch Series 6 bricked?

I’ve had my Apple Watch for less than a month, this morning when I woke up after wearing it to bed like I have been since I got it, the screen is black. I can see that it has a 75% charge from my phone. I’ve tried turning it off, charging it, and force-resetting it but nothing shows on my screen. It is still on because when I tap the screen it clicks, and when I put it on the charger it chimes.

i checked my settings from my phone, and the screen curtain is not on.

I had same issue and had to get it replaced. A bit painful to walk through the process with tech support and disappointing to go without a watch. Now, about two months later I’m having the same issue with the replacement (this time the watch dialed 911, then would not leave the power-off-emergency screen...only option was to power off. Never comes back on). Wondering why this isn’t getting more press. There is no way I’m so unlucky to have a strange and rare bricking experience twice...many others must be having the same problem.
